Sonata Transmutationis is an ongoing project that began with the creation of two papier-mâché masks: one of the sun and one of the moon. Solis et lunae are made of aluminium foil, cardboard, papier-mâché, Creative Paperclay, and acrylic paint. These photographs depict the masks in their current state, reflecting wear and tear from use.
