Princess Wisteria: Panthera (2025)

Who is Wisteria? A romantic cluster of drooping flowers, an 18th-century American physician, a cross-pollinated evocation, or, perhaps, me? When I first began spinning anomalous frequencies into billowing soundscapes, a chameleon emerged, and her first skin reflected the Panthera.

The Panthera head is made of aluminum foil, papier-mâché, Creative Paperclay, acrylic paint, and fishing wire. For the base, I built on top of a store-bought helmet. The body is made of natural and artificial fibers, bird feathers, and a jewelry adornment of buffalo bone and fox claws—all sustainably sourced.
